Duck in natural habitat

Big cricket!

Very well hidden and shy. Made a loud noise, about 7 cm long.
But when I found it and started taking pictures it actually started crawling towards me!
I guess it wondered what the clicking sound was. Big black cricket with a lens?

Chanterelles (surprise)

When you least expect it, there they are!!

Speedy snail

Almost stepped on this snail as it crossed the road at surprising speed!

Drops after rain

One of the cleaners at the café

One mans scraps is another's treasure!

Bull rush

Bull rush in the sun.

Mind blowing strength, the bit of twig is surely 3-4 times the ants weight!

Beauty of cobweb

Theme of the day, cobweb

Simple things in nature are just beautiful! Well, maybe not simple thinking of the extraordinary construction skills
that spiders have.  But you can find it anywhere, and it looks stunning in the sun and in dew with little drips of
water covering it. When it gets light a little bit later in the mornings i'll try to capture this too!

Hungry bug!

Greenery with shades in the sun

The shade of the plant in the background seen through the leaf in the foreground.

Greenery in the sun

Iv'e been a flower

I like how the light flowers and grass in the background creates a soft pattern due to the wind!

Shadows on a deckchair!

Light and shade from the backrest created this pattern on the seat.

Shadow on wood
